Hwy 68 heads into Tellico Plains and here we took a left on Hwy 165 the Cherohala Skyway drove 53 miles and took a right on FR 210 which follows the beautiful Tellico River. We started out near Maryville so we came down Hwy 411 south to Madisonville then headed east and south on Hwy 68. Conasauga Falls Trail is a 13 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Tellico Plains Tennessee that features a waterfall and is rated as moderate. The best part is that this trail is basically unknown. Baby Falls is located in the Unicoi Range of mountains near the TennesseeNorth Carolina state line just down the road from Bald River Falls.
Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on a leash. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from April until October. Located near Smithville Tennessee this waterfalls hike is a bit steep to get to but the reward is ample.
Baby Falls is easily visible from the road. To get to the trailhead drive 225 miles on the Cherohala Skyway from Tellico Plains Tennessee.
